Take the Timetrail with Warwickshire Museum
Use the map search to locate sites on a map of Warwickshire. To discover the archaeological site you will need to find place in Warwickshire that interests you.
Map Search
Move to a location in the County using by selecting the Search Tab at the top right of the central map screen to use the search controls. You can search on any post code, street name, or town/village name in Warwickshire.
Select the Archaeology tab and click on the blue drawing pin. Move the cursor to a place on the map and click to find the archaeology.
The results will be presented below the search tools. Please be patient as some searches have to query many thousands of records for your results.
Either: Click on another square in the map screen to find more archaeological sites. Find another location by selecting the Locations tab. Go back to "Discover the Past" website by clicking on the appropriate place on the task bar at the bottom of your screen.
NB: The map search opens in a new window. If at any point, you think you have "lost" the map page look on the task bar at the bottom of your screen. Find the word Map Page and click on it.
