Search the Archaeology Database


Choose the Quick Search to search for all records containing a particular word or phrase e.g. Castle, Battlefield, Tudor.
Choose the Record Number Search to search for a single record e.g. 123.
Choose the Place Search to search for all records in a particular parish e.g. Polesworth.

NB: The quick search is the most basic search. If you type castle, you will get a report for all castles AND all records that contain the word castle (e.g. Church on Castle Street!). To create a report for all castles, churches and villas etc, use the Monument Type dropdown list on the detailed search page.

Place Search
Click on the letter of the alphabet that your chosen parish begins with. Select the parish from the drop-down list by clicking on it.
