Recommended for inclusion on the Local List by Lovie. Lovie also recommended that the District Council be encouraged to undertake a thorough tree survey of the area comprising the former gardens, with a view to recording any early specimens, and to ensuring that where appropriate, preservation orders are in place to protect significant specimens.
