1 The Northern Warwickshire line of the Great Western Railway crosses the Mile Walk leading from Umberslade Hall to Tanworth in Arden by means of a very beautiful bridge designed by Major Muntz and built in 1908. The bridge consists of 3 elliptical arches and was built of stone to match Umberslade Hall.
2 The bridge is still in use.
3 The bridge carries the line of the ex-GWR Railway form Tyseley to Stratford (The North Warwickshire Railway) over the driveway between Tanworth in Arden and Umberslade Hall. A stream (a tributary of the River Alne) flows through the eastern arch. The majority of the bridge is built in rock faced sandstone but the arch voussoirs are in smooth ashlar. There are three spans on an acute skew angle of 40 degrees, the roadway passing under the centre arch. The arches are semi-elliptical in form and the arch is in finely cut ashlar sandstone.

The details of individual archaeological sites and findspots were written on record cards. These record cards were used until the 1990s, when their details were entered on to a computerised system. This period comes after the Post Medieval period and before the modern period and starts with beginning of the Industrial Revolution in 1750. It includes the second part of the Hannoverian period (1714 – 1836) and the Victorian period (1837 – 1901). The Imperial period ends with the start of the First World War in 1914.
