Summary The site of an Iron Age settlement, as evidenced by an enclosure visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, geophysical survey and trial trenching. The enclosure was partially excavated and was found to be of Bronze Age or Iron Age date. It is situated 800m west of Wolston. Trial trenching in adjacent fields revealed pits and Iron Age pottery and sherds.
