Source Number  

1 Two fragments of a quarter of a penny of Offa dating to c. 784-7 were found with a metal detector in, or before 1986. The SP given was 109524.
2 The find was donated to the Museum. The coin is of Offa or any of the contemporary or later rulers of the 8th century to 9th century.
