Source Number  

1 Site of a brick kiln suggested by brick kiln Close field name in 1849 Tithe Map (WRO CR 569/235).
2 Further research was conducted into this Site by John Brace, as original NGR was proved incorrect. The Site has now been relocated on the Studley Tithe map, named on a Schedule of 1849. Now mostly buried under modern road works. Four other brickyards were found in the tithe schedule.

This period comes after the Post Medieval period and before the modern period and starts with beginning of the Industrial Revolution in 1750. It includes the second part of the Hannoverian period (1714 – 1836) and the Victorian period (1837 – 1901). The Imperial period ends with the start of the First World War in 1914.
