Archaeologists and the Temple at Coleshill
In 1978, local enthusiasts discovered large quantities of Roman pottery from Grimstock. This pottery was from a Roman settlement and led archaeologists to unearth a Roman temple.
The archaeological excavations revealed fantastic finds and provided a window into the history of Grimstock Hill.
