Steam Locomotives
Further away from the quarry face more permanent tracks could be laid. This allowed steam locomotives to do most of the hauling. The locomotives here were bought by the quarry company and named Jubilee and Oldbury after the quarries in which they operated.
Work at the quarry continues whatever the weather!
